Do NOT activate more than ONE IdM ID!
If you got a second IdM ID in any case whether you have or had already one, please contact the IdM-support via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To use your IdM-account entirely, you have to activate your account once first of all.
Matriculated students will get their activation letter with the code from the students record office after paying the tuition fees. It will be sent to the address told the office.
Students just have to fill in the activation password and can afterwards log in with the password set while registration.
Staff members find the activation username and password in the user info letter which you receive at every RRZE service desk after legitimation. Please bring in a valid passport.
Without a work contract with FAU, but for example with a
scholarship, user will receive the activation letter from the Graduate Centre. Email-address: email@example.com.
If a user has already registered and has a username and a password, the account needs to be activated for full-usage. According to the affiliation (students, staff, doctorate candidates) the activation letter will be sent by the relevant institution or can be picked up at one of the FAU service-desks.
